Two Bangladeshis were killed by gunmen in Buffalo, New York, USA. The incident happened on Saturday (April 27) around 12 noon local time at Jenner and East Ferry in Buffalo.
According to eyewitnesses, Babul was working in his Buffalo home in Yusuf’s presence. At that time a black youth came and demanded some money from them. At one stage of the conversation between the two, the black youth shot at them and fled the scene. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and recovered the bodies of the deceased. The bodies of the deceased are at ECMC Hospital. The police could not arrest anyone till the last news.
Buffalo police said the suspect was surrounded by a SWAT (special weapons and tactics) team, along with the city’s crisis management team, after receiving reports of the shooting deaths of two men on Jenner Street.
Stop the Violence Coalition Executive Director Murray Holman said, “Our city of Buffalo was very quiet.” It is very sad when such things happen. He hopes other members of the anti-violence community will help them with this. However, the police did not confirm whether the suspected miscreant is in their custody or not.
