Police Investigate Prince Andrew’s Reported Visits to Balmoral With Jeffrey Epstein

Scottish police have confirmed they are conducting inquiries into the time Prince Andrew, now known as Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, reportedly spent at the royal **Balmoral Estate alongside convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and his associate Ghislaine Maxwell.

Police Scotland said the investigation remains at a very early stage and emphasized that all inquiries are being led by available evidence.

In a statement, the force said:

“All inquiries are evidence-led, with the needs of victim survivors at the heart of those inquiries.”

Police declined to provide further details, noting that it would be inappropriate to comment on ongoing investigations.

The development follows the release of images by the United States Department of Justice earlier this year that reportedly appear to show Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor on a shooting trip at Balmoral alongside Jeffrey Epstein.

The photographs have renewed public scrutiny over the former royal’s past associations with Epstein, who died in 2019 while facing federal sex trafficking charges in the United States.

The latest police inquiry comes amid continued legal and public interest in individuals linked to Epstein and Maxwell, who was convicted in the United States for helping recruit and groom underage girls for sexual abuse.

Earlier this year, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was arrested and questioned by British police on suspicion of misconduct in public office. The arrest marked a historic moment, becoming the first known arrest of a senior British royal in nearly four centuries.

Authorities have not announced any charges in relation to the Balmoral investigation, and inquiries remain ongoing as detectives assess available evidence and witness information.

The case is expected to attract significant attention in both the United Kingdom and internationally as investigators continue to examine the circumstances surrounding the reported visits and associations.
