Dhaka Heatwave to Continue Wednesday With No Rain in Sight, Says Met Office

1 min read

The Bangladesh Meteorological Department has warned that Dhaka and surrounding regions will continue to experience persistent heat on Wednesday, with no chance of rainfall to bring relief.

In its six‑hour forecast issued after 7:00am, the Met Office said the sky may remain partly cloudy, but daytime temperatures are expected to stay largely unchanged, keeping conditions hot and uncomfortable across the capital.

Winds from the south to southwest are expected to blow at 10-15 km/h, contributing to the dry weather pattern that has settled over the region.

At 6:00am, Dhaka recorded a temperature of 28.2°C, accompanied by a humidity level of 81 percent, creating a warm and sticky start to the day.

With no rainfall expected and temperatures holding steady, residents are advised to stay hydrated and avoid prolonged exposure to the sun during peak hours.
