On the occasion of Begum Rokeya Day, Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus called on citizens to embrace the ideals of Begum Rokeya in building a new Bangladesh. The event was held at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium in the capital.
Dr. Yunus emphasized the power of vision and inspiration, saying:
“If Begum Rokeya could dream, we too can dream. What’s the difficulty? Let’s try once. Begum Rokeya took us far ahead, and we will carry it much further. Even if we cannot do much else, at least we can dream.”
The program highlighted Rokeya’s legacy as a pioneer of women’s education and empowerment, urging the nation to continue her mission of progress and equality.
