On the occasion of Immortal February and International Mother Language Day, the literary magazine ‘Srote’ held a reading and discussion of the poetry of Ekushe in Paris, France.
Poet Abu Zubair, musician Arif Rana, reciter Munir Quader, cultural personality Hasnat Jahan, rhymer and poet Lokman Ahmad took part in the discussion and recitation of famous poems on Ekush on Monday (February 26) evening, presented by poet Badruzzaman Zaman. Apan, stream editor poet Badruzzaman Zaman, poet Mary Hawladar, literature lover Mohammad Ahmed Salim, Mohammad Abdul Hamid, thinker Khaledur Rahman Sagar, organizer Elan Khan Chowdhury, organizer Jewel Das Lelin, musician Israt Khanam Flora, Ayesha Sultana and others. Musician Kumkum Rana performed the music.
Taking part in the discussion, the speakers said that since UNESCO recognized the International Mother Language Day in 1999 as a tribute to the great twenty-one, the day has been celebrated at the international level for more than two decades. Which is a special glory for us in the world.
