Presley Gerber, the son of supermodel Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber, has died at the age of 27, according to records from the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner.
Gerber, who followed his family’s path into the fashion industry, reportedly died at a rehabilitation facility on Sunday. The cause of death has not yet been disclosed by authorities.
In a statement provided to media outlets, a representative for Crawford and Rande Gerber said the family is asking for privacy as they grieve the loss of their son.
Presley Gerber began his modeling career at a young age, making his runway debut for Italian fashion house Moschino at the age of 16. He later worked with several major international brands, including Burberry, Dolce & Gabbana, and Bottega Veneta, establishing himself as a recognizable figure in the fashion industry.
He was the older brother of model Kaia Gerber, and the two were known for their close relationship. They appeared together in campaigns, including a high-profile advertisement for Calvin Klein in 2018. Presley had previously spoken publicly about the strong bond he shared with his family and especially with his sister.
