The 15‑member Pakistan women’s cricket squad has arrived in the UAE to compete in the ACC Women’s T20 Asia Cup 2026, scheduled from 28 August to 13 September.
After completing an intensive pre‑tournament camp at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Lahore, the team travelled on Wednesday morning and reached the UAE in the afternoon. Players will rest following their arrival before beginning their first training session on Thursday. Captain Fatima Sana is also set to attend the tournament’s trophy‑unveiling ceremony.
The 2026 edition features eight teams, divided into two groups of four:
Group A: Pakistan, India, Thailand, Hong Kong, China
Group B: Sri Lanka (defending champions), Bangladesh, Indonesia, UAE
The tournament opens on 28 August, with Thailand facing Hong Kong, China at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, which will host all 15 matches, including the final on 13 September.
Pakistan enter the competition with momentum from their structured preparation in Lahore and will begin training immediately to adapt to UAE conditions.
