Fran Drescher Says She’d Officiate Timothée Chalamet & Kylie Jenner’s Wedding If They Ever Ask

Fran Drescher is more than happy to officiate Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner’s rumoured wedding though she doubts the couple will actually call on her. The Marty Supreme star, who plays Chalamet’s on‑screen mother, shared the light‑hearted offer while attending the 2026 Actor Awards on March 1, where she arrived in a black sequined gown paired with a statement hat.

When asked whether she’d be willing to oversee the ceremony, the 69‑year‑old didn’t hesitate. “If they asked me to,” she said, adding that she already officiates same‑sex weddings and would “certainly branch out” for Timothée and Kylie. Still, she admitted with a laugh, “I have a feeling they’re not going to ask.”

Drescher also spoke warmly about her real‑life affection for Chalamet, describing him as “sweet, vulnerable and very charming.” She recalled a moment during a press event atop the Empire State Building when his fear of heights kicked in. “I felt a need to mother him,” she said. “I was very worried about him. I told him, ‘Look, we’re not curing cancer.’”

Despite his nerves off‑screen, she praised the 30‑year‑old actor’s fearlessness in front of the camera. “He’s such a young actor, but in search of greatness. He’s a darling. A very talented man.”

While rumours continue to swirl about whether Timothée and Kylie are actually planning a wedding, the actor made a different kind of red‑carpet appearance at the Actor Awards walking alongside his real mother.
