Real Madrid are preparing to offer Vinícius Júnior a new contract next summer, with the club aiming to finalize an agreement at the end of the current season.
Despite ongoing tensions between the Brazilian forward and head coach Xabi Alonso, the club hierarchy views the matter as an internal issue and is eager to resolve it.
The rift became public during the season’s first El Clásico against Barcelona, when Alonso substituted Vinícius with 18 minutes left on the clock. The forward reacted angrily, heading straight down the tunnel. Television footage later showed him appearing to say something toward the coach as he left the pitch. Although he eventually returned to the bench, the incident highlighted the strain in their relationship.
