Lily Gladstone Joins Reimagined Thomas Crown Affair

Oscar nominee Lily Gladstone has secured a key role in the upcoming reimagining of The Thomas Crown Affair, produced by Amazon MGM Studios and directed by Michael B. Jordan. While specific details about her character remain under wraps, the film also features Oscar winner Kenneth Branagh as part of the cast.

Leading the project are Jordan and Taylor Russell, with filming scheduled to begin this summer. The movie is set to have an exclusive theatrical release on March 5, 2027.

Although plot specifics are being kept confidential, the original 1968 film and its 1999 remake both centered on a wealthy, thrill-seeking man who pulls off a daring heist for the thrill of it. The story unfolds into a tense game of cat and mouse with a sharp investigator, captivating audiences across generations.

The screenplay is written by Drew Pearce, with earlier drafts by Wes Tooke and Justin Britt-Gibson. Producers include Patrick McCormick and Marc Toberoff. Alan Trustman, who wrote the original 1968 film, serves as an executive producer.
