Similar to the February book fair in Bangladesh, a day long Ekushey Book Fair is organized in Sydney’s Ashfield Park every year. This fair has been organized for the last 25 years keeping in view the International Mother Language Day.
This book fair is set to continue throughout the day at Ashfield Park in Sydney on Sunday, March 3.
Prothom Alo managing editor and fiction writer Anisul Haque will be presented as a special guest at the book fair.
Ahead of the fair, the unveiling of the newly published books (from the last fair to the current one) of Bengali literature writers, poets, writers living in Australia will be held on the stage of the Book Fair as usual.
Rules for Authors:
1. It is desirable for writers to be present in person at the fair.
2.Two copies of the book should be wrapped in paper and submitted to the publication’s editor by 11:00 am.
