Pauline Hanson Caught on Camera Using “Nasty Bitch” Remark as Media Clash Erupts in Adelaide

1 min read

Footage captured after a tense media conference in Adelaide has revealed One Nation leader Pauline Hanson making a blunt off‑camera remark and her staffer telling a journalist to “shut up” as the exchange spiralled.

The vision shows Senator Hanson and her entourage walking away from reporters when One Nation MP Barnaby Joyce offered praise for her performance. “That was good, you did very well,” Joyce can be heard saying. Hanson then replied, “I said you’re the nasty bitch,” prompting laughter from Joyce and adviser Richard Henderson.

The confrontation followed a heated press conference at an oil and gas producers event, where Senator Hanson faced questions about her party’s stance on fracking, offshore drilling and upcoming Senate candidates. As a journalist attempted to continue questioning, her media adviser abruptly cut things short.

“We’re done, thank you. No, no, no. Shut up. We’re done,” Henderson said as Hanson turned to leave.
“Did you just say shut up?” the reporter responded, as the moment quickly gained traction online.

The incident adds to a growing list of fiery interactions between One Nation and the press, underscoring the party’s increasingly combative relationship with journalists.
