The Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) has announced the appointment of former Premier League defender Titus Bramble to its national team coaching setup, describing the move as part of a new vision for the country’s football development.
In announcing the appointment, the federation welcomed Bramble with the message: “A new chapter. A new vision. One team. One dream. Welcome to Pakistan, Coach Titus Bramble!”
Bramble brings extensive experience from English football after a professional playing career that spanned more than a decade at the highest level. He began his career with Ipswich Town before establishing himself in the Premier League.
The former centre-back went on to join Newcastle United, where he made 156 appearances in all competitions during a five-year spell at the club. He later played for Wigan Athletic and remained a regular presence in English top-flight football before concluding his Premier League career.
Pakistan football officials said Bramble’s experience at elite levels of the game would be valuable as the national team prepares for upcoming international competitions, including the FIFA ASEAN Cup and other regional challenges.
The appointment is being viewed as part of broader efforts to strengthen Pakistan’s football infrastructure and coaching resources. Officials expressed hope that Bramble’s knowledge of professional football, player development, and high-performance environments will contribute to the growth of the national program.
