Ukraine Strikes Russian Oil Refinery and Drone‑Linked Sites in Overnight Attacks, Kyiv Targets Infrastructure in Krasnodar and Occupied Crimea

Ukraine’s military says its forces carried out a series of overnight strikes on Russia’s Afipsky oil refinery in the southern Krasnodar region, as well as on facilities in occupied Crimea linked to the production of drones and naval vessels.

In a statement on Thursday, Ukraine’s General Staff said a fire broke out at the refinery after the strike, describing the operation as part of ongoing efforts to disrupt Russia’s military logistics and drone capabilities.

Russian officials in the Krasnodar region acknowledged a fire at the site but claimed it was caused by falling drone debris, adding that emergency crews had extinguished the blaze.

Ukraine also reported successful strikes on drone‑related infrastructure in Crimea, territory Russia has occupied since 2014. Kyiv has intensified its campaign against drone production hubs, which Moscow relies on heavily for long‑range attacks across Ukraine.

The latest strikes come amid escalating cross‑border operations, with both sides increasingly targeting each other’s military and industrial assets far from the front lines.
