Sunday Rose Kidman Urban may only be 17, but she’s already carving out her own creative path and she credits her mother, Nicole Kidman, as the driving force behind it. The teenager, who made her runway debut at Miu Miu’s Spring/Summer 2025 Paris Fashion Week show, revealed that she even shot a magazine cover just hours before heading to her school’s winter formal.
As she prepares to turn 18 in July, Sunday says she hopes to study filmmaking in college, following in her mother’s footsteps. “I definitely gained a lot of interest from those experiences and especially being privileged enough to experience them at a young age,” she said. “My mum is someone who has always been so creative and my biggest inspiration in life. She’s a key part of everything I do.”
Growing up in the spotlight hasn’t been easy, but Sunday says school has played a crucial role in keeping her grounded. Returning to Nashville and slipping back into high‑school life helps her stay centred amid the attention that comes with modelling and media exposure.
“The privilege of having these experiences and meeting so many new people is so amazing, but as a teenager it’s so easy to get sucked into all of it so fast,” she explained. “So being able to come back to Nashville and keep that perspective of being back at high school keeps me grounded.”
With a blossoming modelling career, academic ambitions and a strong creative influence at home, Sunday Rose is stepping confidently into adulthood and shaping a future that blends artistry, discipline and her own emerging voice.
