NCP Expresses Solidarity With Inquilab Mancha’s Movement for Justice for Sharif Osman Hadi

The National Citizens Party (NCP) has expressed full solidarity with the ongoing movement led by Inquilab Mancha demanding justice for the killing of its founder and spokesperson, Shaheed Sharif Osman Hadi. The declaration came in a letter issued late Saturday (27 December), signed by Sadia Farzana Dinar of the party’s office cell.

The letter states that Sharif Osman Hadi dedicated his life to the struggle for justice and citizens’ rights. He was described as a steadfast voice against injustice and a powerful symbol of ordinary people’s demands on the streets.

The NCP expressed deep concern that despite the passage of considerable time since the brutal killing, the main perpetrators have yet to be arrested. The party said the unacceptable delays in investigation and prosecution are hurting not only Hadi’s family but the nation’s broader expectations for justice.

The statement further noted that in an independent country, the failure to apprehend the killers of a public figure and the prolonged stagnation in the judicial process only deepen the culture of impunity. Such failures, it warned, fuel public anger and distrust, posing a serious threat to the rule of law and the stability of the state.
