The first images from the upcoming biographical drama ‘Ink’ have been revealed, showing Claire Foy and Jack O’Connell in character on the streets of London.
Foy, known for her acclaimed performances in The Crown, was spotted in a chic and quirky ensemble featuring a PVC skirt, thigh-high boots, a floral button-up shirt, and pilot glasses. She carried a red umbrella and a brown sling bag, embodying her role as Joyce Hopkirk, The Sun’s first Women’s Editor.
Opposite her, O’Connell appeared in a sharp all-grey suit, paired with black work boots, slicked-back hair, and a printed tie, portraying Larry Lamb, the former editor of The Sun.
Actor Guy Pearce, best known for Rules of Engagement, also stars in the film as Rupert Murdoch.
Based on James Graham’s hit play, Ink will chronicle the rise of The Sun newspaper and the revolutionary ideas that transformed British journalism.
