Global music icon Shakira has already conquered the entertainment world, but now her sons, Sasha and Milan, are stepping into the spotlight with their own debut. The brothers recently featured as minor voice artists in ‘Zootopia 2’, playing the younger brothers of Judy Hopps.
For Shakira, who reprises her role as Gazelle in the animated sequel, the project was a deeply personal and proud moment. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the 48-year-old singer revealed that she recorded her lines together with her sons in the studio. She described the experience as joyful and effortless, saying the boys were spontaneous and confident while delivering their parts. “Oh my God, I drool over them. They know that. They were not shy at all. They were very spontaneous, and it was very easy to record their lines,” she shared.
The behind-the-scenes family collaboration has delighted fans, offering a glimpse of Shakira not just as a performer but as a mother celebrating her children’s first steps into the entertainment industry. Both Sasha and Milan expressed excitement about the opportunity, with Milan adding, “It was a great experience and I’m super excited.”
The cameo roles may be small, but they mark the beginning of what could be a promising journey for Shakira’s sons, who are already showing enthusiasm for creative work. For Shakira, the project represents a cherished memory of sharing her world with her children in a way that blends family and artistry.
