One thousand 166 cricketers have registered their names in the draft for the new season of IPL, including 6 cricketers from Bangladesh, but not Shakib, Liton’s name. Kolkata Knight Riders released these two cricketers before the auction.
The Bangladeshi cricketers in the IPL draft are Mahmudullah Riyad, Hasan Mahmud, Shariful Islam, Mehdi Hasan Miraj, Mustafizur Rahman and Taskin Ahmed. Among them, the highest base price of Mustafiz is Rs 2 crore.
77 cricketers can buy 10 franchises in this season’s auction. Out of which 30 people will be in foreign quota.
The auction for the new season of IPL will be held on December 19.
