Akhaura, Bangladesh: A landmark corporate event is set to take place in Akhaura later this month, marking what organisers describe as the town’s first large-scale corporate lifestyle and aviation experience. The much-anticipated Akhaura Sky Experience will be held on 18 October 2026 at the Akhaura Shaheed Smriti College Ground, offering residents a rare opportunity to enjoy helicopter joy rides and view their town and surrounding landscapes from the sky.

According to organisers, the event is about much more than helicopter rides. It aims to introduce a modern corporate event culture to Akhaura while creating opportunities for entertainment, community engagement, and local business promotion.

The day-long programme will feature helicopter rides alongside sports activities, cultural performances, family entertainment, food stalls, book stalls, and exhibitions showcasing local products and businesses. Organisers believe the event could become a significant milestone for Akhaura by bringing together residents, entrepreneurs, and visitors in a single community-focused gathering.

Local businesses are also being invited to participate as sponsors and exhibitors. The organisers, AB Helicopter Service and Smart Flight Centre, say the event will provide businesses with an opportunity to showcase their products and services to thousands of visitors expected throughout the day.

Prominent development strategist and international businessman Kabir Ahmed Bhuiyan will attend as the Chief Guest. Speaking about the initiative, he expressed strong support for the programme.

“I have always supported positive and corporate initiatives. I am fully committed to helping make this event a success, Insha Allah. I encourage anyone who can afford the experience to purchase a ticket and take part. Events like this create new opportunities and inspire communities. I believe Akhaura should continue moving forward through modern, progressive initiatives, and I am pleased to inaugurate this programme as Chief Guest.”

The event’s Chief Coordinator, Nirjon Mosarrof, said the organisers have spent years working in the helicopter sector, but described the Akhaura programme as one of their most ambitious initiatives to date.

“We have been involved in the helicopter business for the past three years, but this is undoubtedly a mega event. We sincerely appreciate the cooperation and encouragement provided by Mr. Kabir Ahmed Bhuiyan from the beginning. Our goal is to deliver a safe, well-organised and memorable experience for the people of Akhaura.”

With a large turnout expected, organisers have placed special emphasis on safety and crowd management. Scouts, volunteers, and members of local law enforcement agencies will be deployed throughout the venue to assist visitors and ensure the programme runs smoothly.

Organisers hope the Akhaura Sky Experience will leave a lasting impact beyond a single day of entertainment. They believe the event could help position Akhaura as a destination capable of hosting larger corporate programmes, tourism-related ventures, and future investment opportunities.

For many residents, the event represents more than a helicopter ride. It is an opportunity to witness a new chapter in Akhaura’s development, where aviation, business, culture, and community come together in a celebration of progress. As preparations continue, anticipation is growing across the town for what many are already calling a historic day for Akhaura.
