All four women candidates contesting from the Shibir‑supported panel have won by landslide margins in the Jagannath University Central Students’ Union (JACSU) election.
An analysis of the results, officially published on Thursday morning (8 January), shows that each of them secured a significant lead over their nearest rivals.

Sukhimon Khatun Wins Science & Technology Secretary Post
Sukhimon Khatun won the Science and Technology Secretary position with 4,486 votes.
Her closest competitor, Md Mashfikul Islam Rain from the Chhatra Dal‑backed panel, received 3,176 votes a difference of 1,350 votes.

Naushin Nawar Joya Wins International Affairs Secretary
In the International Affairs Secretary race, Naushin Nawar Joya secured 4,501 votes, while her nearest rival, Apu Munshi of the Chhatra Dal‑supported panel, received 2,316 votes, marking another decisive victory.

Shibir‑Backed Panel Dominates Overall Results
Out of 21 total positions in JACSU:

The Shibir‑supported panel won 16 posts, including VP, GS, and AGS

The Chhatra Dal‑backed panel won 4 posts

One independent candidate secured a position
