Robert Irwin has claimed victory in the American edition of Dancing with the Stars, lifting the coveted Mirror Ball trophy ten years after his sister achieved the same feat.

The 21-year-old wildlife conservationist and TV presenter partnered with professional dancer Witney Carson, dazzling audiences and judges alike with consistently impressive choreography throughout the season.

In the finale, Irwin competed against Alix Earle, Jordan Chiles, Elaine Hendrix, and Dylan Efron. The three-hour showdown required each couple to perform three dances, with combined judges’ scores and audience votes deciding the champion.

Despite entering the final with a rib injury, Irwin scored 29 out of 30 in his opening routine before earning perfect scores in his last two performances. His emotional final dance brought him to tears as he dedicated the win to his late father, Steve Irwin, saying he wanted to make him proud.
