The first teaser trailer for Die, My Love has been released, offering audiences a haunting glimpse into the intense on-screen chemistry between Jennifer Lawrence and Robert Pattinson. Directed by acclaimed Scottish filmmaker Lynne Ramsay, the film follows a couple living in isolation whose seemingly playful rural life unravels into a tense and unsettling psychological drama.
The trailer opens with lighthearted moments the couple sharing everyday activities in their remote home, but a creeping darkness soon emerges. Lawrence’s character begins to spiral, her struggle with psychosis and worsening postpartum depression casting a shadow over their relationship. The tension builds to a chilling final shot: Pattinson’s character, visibly distressed, clutching a knife, hinting at a potentially violent turn.
Ramsay, celebrated for We Need To Talk About Kevin, Polaris, and Kill the Day, brings her signature intensity to the adaptation of Argentine writer Ariana Harwicz’s novel of the same name. The film boasts a powerhouse cast including LaKeith Stanfield, Sissy Spacek, Sarah Lind, Nick Nolte, and Debs Howard alongside the two leads.
Premiering to strong buzz at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this year, Die, My Love has been praised for its raw performances and atmospheric storytelling. The film is set for release on November 7 in the United States and Canada, positioning it as a major contender in the upcoming awards season.
