First-Phase List of July-August Uprising Casualties Released

The first-phase final list of individuals martyred or injured during the historic student-people’s uprising of July and August 2024 is now available on the official website at www.medical-info.dghs.gov.bd/public.

Spanning from July 15 to August 5, the uprising witnessed numerous participants facing injuries or losing their lives due to attacks from opposition forces.

Those affected during this period but not included in the initial list are encouraged to submit their applications for consideration, as outlined in a recent Health Ministry handout.

To be considered for the updated list, applicants must provide the following documents:

• National Identification Card or Birth Certificate
• Permanent and Current Address
• Contact Mobile Number
• Proof of hospital treatment
• Any other relevant supporting documents

Applications should be submitted by January 31, 2025, to one of the following locations:

• The office of the respective District Commissioner
• The office of the respective Upazila Executive Officer
• The July Martyrs Memorial Foundation
• The leader of the special cell dedicated to the uprising

This initiative aims to ensure that all affected individuals receive the recognition and support they deserve.
