The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have landed in Melbourne, marking the start of their four‑day visit to Australia. Their first stop will be The Royal Children’s Hospital, where they are expected shortly.
Over the coming days, Prince Harry and Meghan will attend engagements in Melbourne, Sydney and Canberra, with a program centred on mental health, community resilience, and support for veterans and their families areas both have long championed.
A spokesperson for the Sussexes said there will be no public meet‑and‑greet opportunities, explaining that the decision aims to “minimise disruption to members of the public and host organisations.” However, the couple will appear at several ticketed events during their stay.
Their visit has drawn significant attention, though organisers emphasise that the focus will remain on advocacy and community‑based initiatives rather than large‑scale public appearances.
