Fans of Zendaya and Robert Pattinson won’t have to wait much longer their indie feature ‘The Drama’ is finally making its way to global streaming platforms next month. After months of being available only through video‑on‑demand services, the film is now confirmed for a July 31 streaming release, according to HBO Max.

Written by Kristoffer Borgli, the film earned attention for its intimate storytelling and powerhouse performances. It follows a newly engaged couple whose seemingly perfect relationship unravels after one chaotic night with their closest friends. Fueled by alcohol, oversharing and long‑buried secrets, the evening spirals into a chain of emotional shocks that push the couple to confront the truth about themselves and each other.

Zendaya and Pattinson lead the cast with striking chemistry, supported by Mamoudou Athie, Alana Haim, and Hailey Gates, who round out the ensemble in a story that blends tension, vulnerability and raw human drama.

With its upcoming streaming debut, a wider audience will finally get the chance to experience the film’s slow‑burn intensity and the performances that critics have praised since its theatrical run.
