Karachi Kings have made a key change ahead of the PSL 2026 season, bringing in South African batter Reeza Hendricks to replace West Indies opener Johnson Charles, who has withdrawn due to personal reasons.
For Hendricks, this marks his second stint in the Pakistan Super League. He previously featured for Multan Sultans in 2024, scoring 304 runs in eight innings at an impressive average of 43.42 and a strike rate of 134.51. With 296 T20 matches, 64 fifties and 5 centuries to his name, Hendricks arrives with the kind of experience Karachi will welcome at the top of the order.
His inclusion further strengthens an already formidable overseas lineup featuring David Warner, Adam Zampa, Moeen Ali, and UAE batter Muhammad Waseem. Karachi Kings finished third last season their first playoff appearance since 2021 and will be eager to build on that momentum.
The Kings begin their PSL 2026 campaign on March 27, facing last season’s runners‑up Quetta Gladiators in what promises to be a high‑voltage opener.
