Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus to Resume Political Talks on Monday

Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus is scheduled to hold the next round of discussions with political parties on Monday afternoon. The talks are set to take place at the Foreign Service Academy at 4:30 pm, announced Deputy Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad Majumder during a media briefing on Sunday.

All political parties involved in the ongoing reform process have been invited to participate. The Chief Adviser will officially inaugurate the session, with discussions expected to continue in the days that follow. Officials indicate that more meetings are likely to be held both before and after Eid-ul-Azha to facilitate dialogue and progress.

This round of talks is part of the second phase initiated by the National Consensus Commission, aimed at fostering national unity and addressing key political issues.

Senior officials, including Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam and Assistant Press Secretary Ahmmad Foyez, were also present during the briefing, emphasizing the government’s ongoing commitment to consultative dialogue with all stakeholders.
