A 20-year-old man from Carramar, a suburb in northern Perth, remains free on bail as he awaits his next court date in connection with disturbing allegations of online child exploitation.
James Paul Ellis-Kendrick stands accused of falsely claiming to be a juvenile to manipulate three underage girls into sending explicit images through instant messaging platforms. Authorities allege that Ellis-Kendrick engaged in sexually explicit conversations with the girls, all under the age of 16, and attempted to coerce them into sending more compromising images.
According to police, after the victims complied and shared images, Ellis-Kendrick allegedly turned manipulative, threatening to screenshot one girl’s images when she refused to send more. The Australian Federal Police (AFP) revealed that their investigation was initiated following a report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in the United States.
Following a six-month probe, authorities executed a search warrant at Ellis-Kendrick’s residence in April, seizing his mobile phone and computer for forensic analysis. The case continues to develop as he prepares for subsequent court proceedings.
