Confirming the incident, Additional Police Commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (Crime and Operations) S N Mo. Nazrul Islam stated that immigration officials detained her due to the ongoing case. She was then taken to the Detective Branch (DB) office, where her questioning will continue at Vatara police station.
He further confirmed the existence of the case against Nusrat Faria, stating that her interrogation will proceed, and necessary legal actions will be taken based on the information gathered.
