As the spiritual journey of a lifetime approaches, the Religious Affairs Adviser, AFM Khalid Hossain, has revealed that the first Hajj flight to Saudi Arabia is set to depart on April 29. Pilgrims can look forward to the commencement of visa processing in the coming days, paving the way for their sacred expedition.

Speaking at a press conference in Dhaka, Hossain confirmed that this year, a total of 5,200 pilgrims will embark on their pilgrimage under government management, with all essential arrangements for transportation and accommodation already in place.

In addition, the adviser noted that over 81,900 pilgrims will undertake the Hajj through private management. Thanks to the ministry’s diligent oversight and strict adherence to timelines, key activities mandated by the Saudi government have been completed, including the allocation of tents in Mina and Arafat for those registered with private agencies, as well as contract agreements with catering service providers.

As the countdown begins, the excitement for this revered journey intensifies, promising a transformative experience for all participants.
