Euro Bangla Press Club France Announces New Committee Amid Calls for Responsible Journalism

On Wednesday evening, November 27, a general meeting was held in Paris to establish the committee for the Euro Bangla Press Club France. During the meeting, a 21-member committee was unanimously announced by Taijul Fayez, the president of the central committee, designating Taj Uddin, representative of ATN Bangla (UK) in France, as president, and Nazmul Haque, representative of Daily Bangladesh Alor, as general secretary.

Prominent figures welcomed the newly elected committee, including Azad Mia, Director of Legal Aid; Faisal Uddin, President of the Global Jalalabad Association in France; Mahbubul Haque Koyes, Vice President of the Human Rights Commission in France; senior journalist Iqbal Mohammad Zafar, representative of DBC News France; and Mizanur Rahman, representative of Gazi TV in France.

Other members of the Euro Bangla Press Club France include Zakir Khan, Ahmad Fayez, Joint General Secretary Moynul Haque, Mainul Hossain Parvez, Organizational Secretary Khondkar Imamul Hasan, Nurul Amin, Cultural Affairs Secretary Parvez Alam, IT Secretary Jubel Ahmed, Office and Sports Secretary Sakibur Rahman Lavlu, Treasurer Abdul Aziz, and senior members poets Sohel Ahmed, Fayez Ahmed, and Siraj Uddin.

During the meeting, speakers emphasized the crucial role of journalists in guiding the nation through this challenging time. They highlighted that the Euro Bangla Press Club is committed to promoting truth and justice, and they called on the new leadership to advance the club’s activities with determination and integrity.
