Managing Director of Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited MN Chiddik said that considering the needs of passengers, the travel time of metro rail has been reduced from 10 minutes to 8 minutes. It will be effective from next Saturday (February 17).
MN Chiddik said this at a press conference organized at Pravasi Kalyan Bhawan on Thursday (February 15) afternoon.
Meanwhile, train movement was disrupted on Thursday morning due to a fault in the ‘signal system’. The problem occurred after four trips after the start of the train in the morning. However, due to this problem, the train movement was not suspended, and the journey was delayed.
