Bangladesh Football Federation’s President Kazi Salauddin has resigned from the post of Bangladesh Premier League Committee Chairman.
On Thursday (November 30), he stepped down from this committee after only 1 year of assuming office. BFF vice-president Imrul Hasan has been nominated as the new chairman of the league committee.
Prior to this, senior vice-president Salam Murshedi was the chairman of the professional league committee for 12 years. However, last year he expressed his inability to perform this duty. Later Salamuddin took over the responsibility of League Committee Chairman from Salam Murshedi subject to the approval of the executive committee meeting. After 1 year, the BFFhead left that position.
Imrul Hasan said after receiving the new chairmanship of the league committee, “Thank you to the authorities for trusting me. Controversy is everywhere, including FIFA. Competition is a part of sports. I will try to fulfill the responsibility properly.’
