Like the Shenzhen visa in Europe, the opportunity to travel to multiple countries with a single visa is going to be launched in the Middle East.
The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) has decided to introduce a single visa to enrich the travel and tourism sector.
Citizens of six member states — Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates — can enjoy this facility. They can visit all six countries with one visa.
After the 40th meeting of foreign ministers of the GCC alliance, the president of the alliance, Syed Hamud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, announced this.
GGC Secretary General Jassim Al Budaiwi said that the decision to introduce a single visa was unanimously adopted by all members of the alliance. Which will be implemented in 2024-25. Through this, the opportunity for the citizens of these six countries to go from one country to another will become much easier.
