Friday afternoon during rush hour in Brisbane’s CBD, bus struck building, resulting in the death of female pedestrian. The woman, who had previously been in critical condition with “life-threatening injuries,” passed away at the scene, according to police confirmation.

It’s understood the driver lost control and mounted the kerb, just after 5pm, pinning the woman against the ANZAC Square arcade building on Edward Street. Queensland Ambulance Service said it assessed nine bus passengers who were injured in the collision, with five taken to hospital.
