In a heartbreaking incident, Dr. Mazharul Talukdar, an esteemed assistant professor in the Management Department at the University of Canberra, lost his life in a road accident in Australia.
The accident occurred on Sunday, approximately 110 kilometers northwest of Canberra, in the suburb of Goulburn. Reports indicate that Dr. Talukdar was on a family outing when the tragedy struck around 6:30 PM.
As a caravan approached from the opposite direction, a heavy object fell onto his vehicle, shattering the windshield and inflicting severe head injuries. Emergency services arrived at the scene, but tragically, he succumbed to his injuries before they could provide assistance. His wife and two daughters are currently receiving treatment in the hospital.
Authorities have stated that the caravan driver has been taken to the hospital for mandatory testing, but he reportedly suffered no injuries.
Originally from Mymensingh, Bangladesh, Dr. Talukdar had recently returned to Australia just three days after a two-week visit to his homeland.
