1 min read

BNP Chairperson Tareque Rahman has taken part in a series of election rallies across seven districts ahead of the upcoming thirteenth national parliamentary election. At each event, he urged voters to support the BNP’s symbol as well as candidates running under seat‑sharing arrangements with the party.

During the rallies, Tareque Rahman outlined several development‑oriented commitments the BNP would pursue if it forms the next government. His pledges included nationwide canal excavation, the introduction of family cards and farmer cards, training and employment programs for unemployed youth, and honorarium allowances for imams and muezzins. He presented these initiatives as part of a broader future development plan.

According to BNP media cell member Shayrul Kabir Khan, Tareque Rahman completed all seven rallies within a continuous sixteen‑hour campaign effort on the first day of election activities, returning home around 4:15 a.m. Party officials view this as a significant and energetic start to their national campaign.
