A 5.5-5.7 magnitude earthquake struck Bangladesh on Friday morning, shaking Dhaka and several regions. At least six people have been confirmed dead, dozens injured, and buildings damaged.
The tremor, which occurred at 10:38 a.m. local time on November 21, 2025, had its epicenter in Ghorashal, Narsingdi district, about 25–33 km from Dhaka. The US Geological Survey (USGS) reported the quake at a shallow depth of 10 km, making its impact more severe.
