Inquilab Mancha has continued its blockade at Dhaka’s Shahbag intersection, demanding justice for Sharif Osman Hadi, the group’s slain spokesperson. Around 12.30pm on Saturday, leaders, activists, students and members of the public gathered at Shahid Hadi Chattar to press their demands.
Protesters chanted slogans calling for swift justice and vowed to continue the blockade. Abdullah Al Jaber, member secretary of Inquilab Mancha, announced that the demonstration would remain in place until the perpetrators are brought to trial. The group also staged an overnight sit‑in at Shahbag on Friday.
Similar protests and human chains were seen in New Market, Chattogram and several other parts of the country. Ordinary citizens joined the demonstrations, expressing solidarity with the movement. Their emotional participation made it clear that they want the attackers held accountable and expect fair justice.
