While promoting her new series Citadel: Honey Bunny, actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu recently engaged in a candid Instagram Q&A, where she confronted a fan’s remark about her weight.
The comment, urging her to “bulk up,” prompted Samantha to respond directly, highlighting her struggles with myositis, an inflammatory condition affecting her diet and weight.
“Another weight comment,” she noted, adding, “I’m on a strict anti-inflammatory diet required for my condition, which keeps me within a certain weight bracket. Stop judging people. Live and let live—it’s 2024.”
In Citadel: Honey Bunny, set to premiere on November 7 on Prime Video, Samantha stars in an action-filled role in the Indian extension of the Citadel universe, created by Raj & DK and produced by AGBO. Part of the global Citadel franchise, the series explores the dynamic rivalry between the spy agency Citadel and its adversary, Manticore.
