Russian troops are on the verge of capturing the key city of Abdivka in eastern Ukraine. The city has been the scene of fierce fighting between the armies of the two countries for the past few months.
The United States has informed that the city will come under the control of Russia at any moment.
On Thursday (February 15) local time, US security adviser Jack Sullivan gave information about Ukraine’s intelligence agencies. “Abdivka is at risk of falling under Russian control,” he said. He claimed that Ukraine was going to lose the city due to a lack of sufficient weapons.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said he would do his best to “save as many Ukrainian lives as possible”.
Russian troops have advanced a lot towards Abdivka. Now they can surround the city at any moment.
