Two platoons of Border Guard Bangladesh have joined fire service teams in the rescue efforts, with eight fire units currently working at the scene. While the total number of casualties has not been confirmed, Fire Service Assistant Director Kazi Nazmuzzaman stated that “many people have been injured,” and rescuers are actively working to transport the wounded to hospitals.

Videos circulating on social media show individuals being carried on stretchers, though their authenticity has not yet been verified. Several victims have reportedly been airlifted to the Combined Military Hospital by helicopter. The full extent of the incident is still unfolding as rescue operations continue.
