Rabindra-Nazrul-Sukant Jayanti celebrated in Sydney

Rabindra-Nazrul-Sukant Jayanti has been celebrated by Bangladesh Society-Pooja and Culture. Rathindra Nath Dhali, president of the puja committee, inaugurated the recently held event.

At the initial stage of the event, the cultural performance of the artists brought out a different atmosphere.

In the beginning, the performance of BSPC Bangla School enthralled the audience with poetry, songs, as well as charming dance.

After the children and teenagers, the cultural education with BSPC members started. Tributes were paid to the three poets through their poems and songs. Artiste Sirajus Salekin and music artiste Aditi Shreyasi Barua sang after the interval.

The next episode was a dance-poetry tribute to Rabindranath and Nazrul “Hridaye Rabindranath – Chetnaye Nazrul”. About thirty artists participated in this episode. Led by Laurina Nupur Rosario and Shukla Bhakta, dance choreography was by Pragya Varnika Karmakar and Shreyasi Das and overall presentation was by BSPC Cultural. Edited by Devyani Roy Chowdhury.

Later Rabindra-Nazrul-Sukant Jayanti 2024 ended with songs by Vishwaveena artists.
