Allu Arjun’s latest film, Pushpa 2: The Rule, has shattered box office records, marking the largest worldwide opening weekend for an Indian film. With a staggering debut of Dh339.6 million, this cinematic spectacle has not only dominated the box office but has also solidified its status as a landmark achievement in Indian cinema.

Within just four days of its release, the film surpassed the impressive Rs5 billion milestone, earning a place among the top ten highest-grossing Indian films of all time.

In its inaugural week, Pushpa 2 attracted 203,214 viewers in the UAE alone, according to box office reports. Directed by Sukumar and featuring a talented cast that includes Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil, the film has garnered significant international acclaim, achieving record-breaking collections across various markets.

In the UK, Pushpa 2 grossed an impressive Dh5.1 million, while the UAE and GCC regions contributed a remarkable Dh13.6 million. Australia also witnessed a historic performance, with the film earning Dh5.3 million—setting a new record for an Indian film’s opening weekend in the country. Additionally, Germany reported collections of Dh800,000, and the Rest of the World added another Dh2.75 million to the film’s global tally, underscoring its widespread appeal.

Domestically, Pushpa 2 has made waves by becoming the first Indian film to achieve over Rs1 billion in both Hindi and Telugu within its opening weekend. The film enjoyed an impressive 85 percent occupancy rate among Telugu audiences, while Hindi-speaking viewers contributed with a solid 60 percent occupancy, showcasing its broad resonation across diverse demographics.
