Paris Saint-Germain confirmed today that superstar forward Kylian Mbappé has signed a contract extension keeping him at the Parc des Princes until June 2028. The deal, reportedly worth €80 million per season, cements Mbappé’s status as the world’s highest-paid footballer.
Club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi hailed the renewal as “a statement of intent” for PSG’s pursuit of a first UEFA Champions League title. Mbappé said he is “excited to continue this journey” in Paris, quashing persistent rumours linking him to Saudi Pro League clubs.
The new agreement includes a performance-based bonus structure and grants Mbappé a stake in the club’s future commercial ventures. PSG’s sporting director Leonardo called it “a landmark moment for European football.”
