Global star Priyanka Chopra Jonas is balancing her Hollywood commitments with her Indian roots as she embraced the festive spirit of Karva Chauth this year. The actress gave fans a glimpse of her celebrations through Instagram stories, highlighting both her devotion and her family bond.

In one clip, the Citadel actress proudly displayed her mehndi, which featured intricate designs with “Nicholas” Nick Jonas’ full name written at the center of her palm. She paired the video with the classic song Mehndi Hai Rachnewali, adding a nostalgic touch to the moment.

Another post captured a tender mother-daughter moment, showing Priyanka’s hand alongside her daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas’ tiny palm, both decorated with matching henna patterns. The designs were created by celebrity mehndi artist Ishirin Charaniya, whom Priyanka tagged with the caption: “@ishirincharaniya doing her thing this Karva Chauth.”

Upcoming Projects in Indian Cinema

While celebrating tradition, Priyanka is also preparing for a major return to Indian cinema. She will star opposite Tollywood superstar Mahesh Babu in filmmaker SS Rajamouli’s highly anticipated global adventure, tentatively titled SSMB29. The film, shot in Kenya to capture authentic landscapes, is described as a jungle epic. Reports suggest Priyanka and Mahesh Babu will also feature in a high-energy folk-style dance number, adding to the film’s spectacle. Actor Prithviraj Sukumaran is also part of the cast.

In addition, Priyanka is set to reprise her role in the Krrish franchise with Krrish 4. The film marks Hrithik Roshan’s directorial debut and will see her return to one of Bollywood’s most successful superhero sagas.
