The protest song march organized by the protesting socio-cultural organization at the zero point area of Gulistan in the capital has been stopped by the police. At that time, the members of the organization clashe and argue with the police.
The incident took place on Tuesday (July 30) at 3:30 in the afternoon. Later the members of the organization sat on the streets.
The organizers said that such arrangements have been made in protest against the killing of students, torture, mass arrests, and assault cases in recent times.
The march of protest songs started from Noor Hossain Chatwar (GPO, Zero Point) towards Bahadur Shah Park, but was stopped by the police as soon as it came in front of the Gulistan Khaddar Bazar shopping complex.
The procession was seen displaying various demands, slogans, cartoons, placards with masks and pictures, etc. After the procession was stopped by the police, it could not go forward and sat on the road. They are seen reciting songs and poems there.
