Child abuse squad detectives are searching for a man who indecently assaulted a teenage girl near several schools in the Harrsidale area.
The incident occurred around 3.25pm on Thursday and the girl was not known to the man before she was approached on a street. The man is described as being in his mid to late 20s, approximately 170-175cm tall, of medium build, with short black hair. He was last seen wearing a yellow polo shirt, long black pants, and white shoes.
Detectives are knocking doors in the area to find the alleged offender and urge anyone with information to call crime stoppers on 1800 333 000. Any information can be provided anonymously if requested.
