A high-level delegation led by Pakistan’s Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, paid a courtesy call on Bangladesh’s Chief of Army Staff, General Waker-Uz-Zaman, at Army Headquarters in Dhaka yesterday.
In a statement shared on social media, the Bangladesh Army said the two sides exchanged greetings and held discussions on strengthening defence and security cooperation between the countries.
The talks also focused on expanding military collaboration through joint training programmes, seminars, and official visits, underscoring a shared interest in deepening bilateral ties.
